never take it for granted

Just read this part from "tuesdays with Morrie" on the way home, it's from the chapter "The Fourth Tuesday - We talk about death"

...But i do know we are deficient in some way. We are too invloved in materialistic things, and they don't satisify us. The loving relationships we have, the universe around us, we take these things for granted"

this is the 2nd time i read the book, i almost forget all details after last reading. what Morrie taught Mitch are just the good reminders to me. our world is overwhelmed by materials, we act the way the world normally likes, we value what we can achieve physically, so we overlook the real treasures in life. i would be a person like this easily, taking things for granted, but today i know again that the world doesn't go as we wish, and, there are simply a lot of beautiful people and things around us which we never spend time to look at them before.
